11. European Monitoring Group on Meningococci (EMGM)

Dear friends and colleagues,

We hereby announce
the 11th EMGM meeting 18-20 May 2011 in Ljubljana, Slovenija.

EMGM  (European Monitoring Group on Meningococci) group was established in 1991 to share best practice in epidemiological and laboratory methods and for the public health management of meningococcal disease.  In June 2005 the EMGM Society was founded in order to sustain infrastructure established by this group. Recently it has also become a venue for the presentation and discussion of the latest vaccine developments, clinical studies, impact of different implementation strategies and much more. Meetings are convened every two years.

It can be stressed that there is a well-identified interest to have one poster from each European country on the present invasive MC and Hi situation, preferably as an annual report for year 2010 with necessary perspectives.
